The Penasco Del Sol hotel in Puerto Penasco has remodeled all of the rooms. They now have flat panel T.V.s in all of the rooms. All of the beds and amenities are also new. They have new elevators and have added a bar in the lobby.

 

The hotel added a glass wall in the restaurant so you can see the swimming pool and the ocean from the inside of the restaurant and there is plenty of seating out side the restaurant with an even better view. The restaurant is serving up a wonderful brunch and the food in general is delicious.

 

The hotel lobby is a wireless hub and there are a few computers hooked up for you to use for free in case you forget our laptop. They have added a concierges desk and totally redone the swimming pool area. Now they have a swimming pool with a swim up bar, a big jacuzzi, and another S shaped swimming pool located a little closer to the restaurant.

 

Quite a change from when the hotel was called Plaza Las Glorias. Next time you are in Rocky Point stop by and take a look around.
